I pride myself in having the best quality stock and therefore I started my business by coming home with the amazing Hatton Gino who won Champion of his class. He has stayed with me ever since and has sired the most outstanding lambs.
I started growing my flock by then purchasing the best Champion ewes, which include genotype 1,2 and 3.
I finally created Blackthorn earlier this year after years of hard work and preparation with the intention of making it my full time career and I am loving ever second of it.
Here at Blackthorn we are ever expanding. Therefore in the coming months we will have multiple breeding groups of which we rotationally lamb all year round so please keep in touch for the latest updates.

Here at Blackthorn we breed Valais Blacknose sheep, also known as ’The cutest sheep in the world’. Our active family farm is within the heart of the national forest. From Champion rams and Ewes we pride ourselves with strong, picturesque lambs throughout each year.
